About The Forum

The Forum is a leader in providing quality health and fitness services to its community. Its head quarters, The Forum Sports & Aquatic Centre, is based within the scenic grounds of the University of Newcastle and is managed by NUsport.

NUsport was established in 2001 and is the successful union of The Forum Sports & Aquatic Centre and the University of Newcastle Sports Union.

This not-for-profit organisation is managed by qualified professionals, under the direction and governance of a volunteer Board. NUsport's facilities and activities are designed to meet the needs of University students, staff and the Newcastle community including sporting groups and business people.

The award winning NUsport is a leader in the health and fitness industry and manages a suite of contemporary facilities in convenient locations including:

The Squash & Tennis Pavilion
Ray Watt Pavilion
Five sporting ovals

Good facilities, staff are friendly and receptive. Many clubs are offered in the forum including mountaineering and tae kwon do.

Great for uni students wanting to get fit between classes and one of the few plac3es on campus you can find parking, The people are great and they offer a good range of services. you can even participate with a heaps of your mates and they will still cater for you.

The best gym in Newcastle! Great timetable and very professional staff who are friendly and is obvious are well trained! i have been going here for a few years now and would not consider changing.
